Q. What is 5-Minute Fat Loss anyway?
"5-Minute Fat Loss" is an indoor /outdoor fitness program that includes top notch fitness instructions, nutritional coaching and motivational training designed to get you in the best shape of your life regardless of your current fitness level.
The best part is we utilize workouts based on the "5-Minute Fat Loss" protocols designed by Rick Streb. Research has shown that these types of workout protocols have produced superior results when compared to standard 60-90 minute workouts.
These "5-Minute Fat Loss" workouts are unique and are literally guaranteed to melt of body fat. That's right - we guarantee you will see results or you pay nothing.
Q. Do the workouts really only last 5 minutes?
Some do. Some don't. But most of the workouts are 25-35 minutes typically. The "5-Minute Fat Loss" protocols are the foundation of the training program, but we have much more that we offer such as core strengthening, balance and stability work and much more. We are able to give you the best fat loss workouts anywhere - and we guarantee you will see results or you pay nothing.
Q. In the semi-private training sessions will I get enough individual attention?
Yes, you will get all the motivation, instruction, guidance and support that you need.
I find with most one-on-one training the trainer and client just spend a lot of time talking about their personal lives and the trainer wastes a lot of time counting reps. Why pay good money for someone to count your reps? You could hire someone to count your reps for minimum wage if a rep counter is what you're looking for. And if you're looking for someone to talk about your personal life to for an hour than hire a therapist!
We offer fast-paced full body workouts with all the support, motivation and instruction you'll need to achieve your desired results.
Even in settings like professional or collegiate level strength training and conditioning for sports the trainer works with multiple athletes at one time. It's the same in physical therapy settings where the patients are doing exercises to help them rehabilitate from major injuries; again the therapist works with a few patients at a time. If these people don't need one-on-one training why would the average person looking to drop some body fat and tone up need one-on-one training.
With the semi private workouts not only will you enjoy the camaraderie of training with your fellow workout partners but you'll also enjoy the regular social support you'll receive from the other people in the workout as you continue to move towards your goals together.
Plus if you're ever need a little extra boost because you're having a low energy day, the person working out next to you can help to lift you up. People just seem to workout a little harder when they're with a few others because it's hard to slack off when the person next to you is working their butt off.
On top of that you'll receive first class support from your trainer. This powerful combination of trainer support, guidance, and motivation, topped with the camaraderie and social support from your fellow workout partners is something you just can't get with one on one training.
That being said there are people who feel they need the private workouts, if that's the case we can make that option available to you.
Yes, you will get all the motivation, instruction, guidance and support that you need. Most people have found that they actually prefer to workout at the same time as a few other people as it creates camaraderie, fun, and sometimes even a little competition between people of similar fitness levels. There's a social atmosphere to the workouts that most find very enjoyable. People also seem to workout a little harder when they're with a few others. It's hard to slack off when the person next to you is working their butt off.
Q. How many people are in the semi-private workouts?
Typically 3-6 per session.
Q. How much do the workouts cost?
Our rates are very affordable. To find out our current prices call (573) 302-8400.
Q. Why do I need a personal trainer?
Many people find the guidance, education, support, accountability and motivation they receive from their trainer paramount in getting the results they want from their time spent at the health club.
Q. Will you help me with my nutritional habits?
Yes, registered dietician-approved nutritional guidance is available to you as part of the program.
Q. Isn't cardio better for burning fat?
Cardio can be an important part of a fat loss program but you need to develop lean muscle tissue to really turn your body into a fat melting machine. The only really effective way to do that is through resistance training, which is what we help you do.
Q. Do I need to get a membership to the gym?
Nope, no gym membership required. As a matter of fact, you receive 7 day a week access to our facility as a part of our program.
Q. Shouldn't I just buy an exercise video instead of hiring a personal trainer?
Many of our clients came to us after having little or no success with exercise videos. Maybe you'll be the exception. Try it and if it doesn't work give us a call and we'll get you into shape.
Q. How long do the workouts last?
The workouts are very time-efficient protocols. Usually 25-35 minutes in duration.
Q. I once hired a trainer and all he did was stand there and counts reps. Is that what you do?
No. We give you 100 percent. We educate, guide, instruct, motivate and keep you accountable.
Q. How many days a week should I meet with the trainer?
That depends on your goals. For most people 2 - 3 times per week is just about right.
Q. Do I need to do any other workouts on my own?
Depending on your goals you might receive some assignments from your trainer - probably some cardio and stretches that you can do on your own.
Q. Where is the facility located?
We service all of Camden County with semi-private training. Our facility is located at 5886 Hwy 54 in Osage Beach, MO. Call 573-302-8400 for more information.
